Abunze Lava Coast

The lava that once flowed out during the eruption of Onidake volcano flowed into the sea, forming a complex coastline over a dozen kilometers. That is the Abunze Lava Beach. Subtropical plants breed from a warm climate. The coast is characterized by its dark rock surface. This coast is part of the Saikai National Park, and the Abunze Visitor Center introduces the local nature and ecosystem.
